Stunning sea and castle views from the top floor.
The bathroom could use more shelving for toiletries.

The aesthetic, with its tasteful 60s-themed decor, truly stands out, creating a unique atmosphere. The Superior Double Room was fresh and spacious, equipped with a luxurious bath and a walk-in shower. Breakfast options like the scrambled eggs were exceptional, using locally sourced ingredients. The hospitality offered by the owners added a personal touch that elevates the experience.

Excellent spot for a concert, just a five-minute stroll to the Open Air Theatre. Room 8 featured a modern shower room, fluffy towels, and a shockingly comfy bed with crisp cotton sheets—perfect for a good night's rest after the event.
While the hotel provides ample breakfast options, it can get a bit crowded during peak times, making the dining experience feel a little rushed. The parking, while free, could be tricky during busy weekends. finding a spot, particularly for larger vehicles, demands a bit of patience. I found the bar area cozy, but it unfortunately lacked some more unique drink options, leaving me wanting something a little less standard after a long day of sightseeing.

Exceptional Hospitality and Unique Decor
We had a lovely stay with a charming 60s themed decor that gave the place a unique personality. The highlight of our trip was definitely the warm hospitality from Steve and Karen, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They recommended fantastic local dining options and even informed us about a nearby spot to see seals, which was a delightful surprise. The only minor improvement could be in updating some of the communal areas to match the vibrancy of the décor.

If you’re into culinary gems, the breakfast crafted from local produce was an absolute highlight! Plus, Karen and Steve's local tip-off about Buckams Fish & Chips led us to some of the best grub in town. They really know how to make you feel at home!
Still, everything else sparkled bright.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! Just a few minutes from the beach and the Open Air Theatre, this place is a great base for exploring. The breakfast was one of the best, and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend to anyone planning a trip!
The only downside was the noise from nearby streets at night, which made it a little hard to sleep sometimes.

I enjoyed the warm welcome we received during our stay. The breakfast was made using local ingredients, which I appreciated. The bar served good drinks and was a pleasant spot to relax after a day of activities. My family, including my two teenage sons, felt comfortable and at home here. The cozy atmosphere contributed to our overall experience.
The room was on the small side. The shower could have been more spacious.
